The Crab and the Reef
Walk the shoreline on Kauai at low tide and you will find crabs working the rocks, quick and sideways and completely at home. The Koloa Crab Pigment Dye T-Shirt borrows that scrappy island character and puts it on a shirt with a soft, washed-in look.
Pigment dyeing is a garment-dye process, and it gives each shirt a lived-in, sun-faded feel from the start. Instead of a stiff new tee, you get something that already looks like a favorite. That is why this style suits the beach so well. It looks right with sand on it.

Fit and Sizing
The garment-dyed cotton is soft right out of the bag, and the twill tape at the neck and shoulders adds structure where a tee takes the most strain. Double-needle hems on the armholes, sleeves and bottom are a sturdy finish for a shirt you plan to wear hard.
Sizes run from Small to 4X-Large. Pigment-dyed shirts can look a little different from one piece to the next, since the color is applied to the finished garment, which is part of their charm. Check the size chart for measurements, and see the big and tall page if you shop extended sizes.
How to Wear It
Seafoam is the one that looks like the water in the shallows, and it pairs easily with khaki shorts. Navy and Black are everyday colors that go with anything. Berry adds a warm pop for sunset walks, and White is clean and bright.
