Joe wanted to create a clothing brand that intermixed his appreciation for Hawaii and surfing. This motivated him to establish Koloa Surf Company. As the family-run business expanded, Joe knew he wanted to give back to the town that provided him so much. With that in mind, he continues to make generous donations to local charities. Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii- Kauai Branch, Kauai Habitat for Humanity, Hanohano Ocean Challenge, and The Salvation Army, are a few charitable organizations the surf company supports.
